Kyusho Jitsu Europe & Tipperary Ju-Jitsu
Kysho Jitsu Europe is an association whose goal is to improve and maintain the standards of instructors and students within the martial arts. We are representatives of the International Kempo Ju-Jitsu Union headed by O’Shihan David Court, and our Chief Instructor (Shihan John Duggan) is a member of the I.K.J.J.U. committee of Black Belts.
Shihan Duggan has studied a variety of systems over his 45+ years in martial arts, including Judo, Aikido, Kempo Ju-Jitsu, Kyusho-Jitsu, Kobudo and Aiki-Jitsu. He has been inducted into several Halls of Fame and received many awards during his decades of studying and teaching Martial Arts and currently holds a 1st Dan in Judo, a Master level rank from the International Martial Arts Congress, is a certified Kyusho instructor (he studied under the late Grandmaster Jack Hogan of Hogan Karate International), he is a Certified Modern Arnis instructor under Grandmaster Bruce Chiu and Currently holds an 8th Dan in Kempo Ju-Jitsu.
Shihan Duggan currently runs the Premier Martial Arts and Fitness dojo which has a unique look, as it is based in an old, converted swimming pool, at Body Station Gym in Cashel, which has been transformed into an excellent Martial Arts studio. Premier Martial Arts offer junior and adult classes in Kempo Ju-Jitsu, as well as classes in Kobudo (traditiona martial arts weaponry), Oyo Ryu Karate Kai (run by Sensei Aylward), and Taekwondo.
